St Piers School sits in the Education Directorate of Young Epilepsy, the leading national charity working exclusively to improve the lives of children and young people with epilepsy and/or associated conditions.
We are a non-maintained residential special school for 19–25-year-olds, a large percentage of our cohort have Epilepsy, autism, and severe learning difficulties, along with communication difficulties.
The school provides a variety of interactive and inclusive environments, both indoors and outdoors, which support the pursuit of ambitions and aspirations through a whole range of exciting and creative spaces. All our young adults are put at the heart of the learning experience, through providing an environment where everyone can make progress and gain new skills.

About Us
St Piers Residential Special School forms part of Young Epilepsy, which is the only UK charity dedicated to creating better lives for children and young people with epilepsy and related conditions and is based on a beautiful campus in Lingfield, Surrey, providing world class services. We are part of a multidisciplinary team which includes our Therapy and Health Teams.
Job Purpose
To be responsible for teaching physical education and sport to students (5-25 age range) across school and college whilst undertaking the professional duties of a subject teacher as defined in the school teachers pay and conditions document.

As a Casual Learning Support Worker, you will support students (5-19yo) across their residential and educational setting. You must be passionate about making a genuine difference to the young people we support and putting them at the heart of everything we do.
Experience is not essential; we simply look for people who share the same great qualities as our existing Casual Learning Support Workers. Some of those things include:
